Due to exams being held in the Mitcham training hall there was no training on Wednesday 3rd of June. We can now confirm that squad training (sparring) will be on as normal this Wednesday (10th June) starting at 6:30pm.

Saturday 30th May - Squad Training

On Saturday 30th May we will be holding a squad training lesson at Monks Hill sports Centre.
The lesson start at 1pm and ends at 3pm.

Master Kennedy will be bringing some students down from our Scotland Clubs so we would like to see as many of you as possible there.

Also we have invited a few friends and guest instructors from other clubs to join us.

Dan Grading - 26/04/2009

Congratulations to the following instructors from Chung Yong who took part in and passed the BTCB Dan grading held on Sunday 26th April 2009.

The Chung Yong Range

Following requests from student and after working with Nike and our suppliers we will shortly be able to offer you 2 styles of Chung Yong Tracksuits, Chung Yong T Shirts & and Chung Yong outdoor training tracksuits (rain proof with hood) as well as the long awaited Chung Yong Taekwondo Uniform. All items will carry the prestigious Chung Yong dragon and name.

I will be bringing samples of these items to the clubs over the next few weeks to get feedback and take any initial orders.

We are very proud of the high quality of our students and want everyone to know that you are part of Chung Yong Taekwondo. Please wear these items with pride.

Chungdokwan National Championships – 21/03/2009

Congratulations to all those from Chung Yong who took part in the Chungdokwan National Championships on Saturday 21st March 2009.

The pattern squad consisted of 4 students who started the day well by winning 2 Gold, 1 Silver and 1 Bronze. It was then the turn of the sparring squad which again consisted of only 4 students. After some impressive displays and entertaining fights they won a further 3 silver and 1 Gold.
